Compared with ordinary flat gate valve:

1. In terms of internal structure, the disc is different. The disc of the gate valve with guide orifice has hole with almost the same diameter, while the disc of the normal flat gate valve does not have such hole.

2. In terms of external structure, the lower part of the gate valve body with the guide orifice is obviously longer than the ordinary flat gate valve.

When the gate valve is fully opened, the gate groove is not exposed, the fluid resistance is small, and the pressure drop is small. It is often used in pipelines that need to pass through the ball.

When the normal gate valve is opened, the gate groove is exposed, the fluid resistance is slightly larger, and the ball has the risk of being stuck in the groove.

Orifice plate with guide holes, this hole is the medium flow hole, if there is no such hole, the medium cannot pass.

Normal gate valves are opened by adjusting the height of the gate, while the diversion hole gate valve is adjusted by the size of the diversion hole exposed.

Of course, in the fully open state, the lower edge of the hole is flush with the groove of the gate, and the through ball can easily pass through.

When the normal valve is fully opened, the lower gate groove is exposed.
