Forged steel fully welded ball valves are mainly used in the pipelines of various systems in thermal power plants to cut or connect pipeline media. The forged steel valve is characterized by high temperature and high pressure resistance, unique self-sealing design, the higher the pressure, the more reliable the seal. Forged steel valves often ignore the problem of grease injection. After the grease gun is refueled, the operator selects the valve of the low temperature globe valve and the connection method of grease injection, and then performs the grease injection operation. There are two types of forged steel gate valves: on the one hand, the amount of grease injected is insufficient, and the sealing surface wears quickly due to lack of lubricant. On the other hand, excessive grease injection leads to waste. The reason is that there is no accurate calculation of the sealing ability of different valves according to the valve type category. According to the valve size and type, the sealing capacity can be calculated, and then a reasonable amount of grease can be injected. The ball valve is generally in the open position during maintenance, and it is selected to be closed for maintenance under special circumstances. Other valves cannot be considered open position. For the forged steel extended end gate valve, it is necessary to observe the problem that the valve diameter is flush with the sealing ring seat. If there is interference in the open position, adjust the open position limiter inward, verify the diameter is straight, and lock. Adjusting the limit should not only pursue opening or closing positions, but should consider the whole. If the opening position is flush and the closing position is not in place, the valve is not closed tightly. In the same way, if the adjustments for closing positions are in place, the corresponding adjustments for opening positions should also be considered. Make sure the valve has the correct stroke angle. After greasing, be sure to seal the grease port. In order to avoid the entry of impurities or the oxidation of grease at the grease injection port, the cover should be coated with anti-rust grease to avoid rust.
Given the different qualities of diesel and gasoline, the washout and disintegration capabilities of gasoline should be considered. When encountering the operation of the gasoline section, the lubricating grease should be replenished in time to prevent wear and tear. When injecting grease, do not neglect the grease injection at the valve stem. There is a sliding bush or packing on the valve shaft, which also needs to be lubricated to reduce frictional resistance during operation. If lubrication cannot be guaranteed, the torque will increase the wearing parts during electric operation, and the switch will be laborious during manual operation. Some ball valves are marked with arrows. If there is no English FLOW writing, it is the action direction of the sealing seat, which is not used as a reference for the flow direction of the medium, and is opposite to the self-leakage direction of the valve. Typically, double seat ball valves have bi-directional flow.
When maintaining the valve, also pay attention to the water inflow of the electric head and its transmission mechanism. Especially the rainwater that seeps in during the rainy season. One is that the transmission mechanism or the transmission sleeve is rusted, and the other is that it freezes in winter. When the electric valve is operated, the torque is too large, and the transmission parts are damaged, which will cause the motor to trip without load or over-torque protection. Electric operation is not possible. The transmission parts are damaged and cannot be operated manually. After the over-torque protection is activated, manual operation cannot be switched. If the operation is forced, the internal alloy parts will be damaged.
