1. The valve body should be cast or forged, and the valve body material should conform to GB/T 122300

2. If the flange of the valve body connecting the valve body end flange and the valve cover needs to be a flange of forged material in the form of surfacing welding, the welding of the flange and the valve body should be in accordance with the provisions of GB 150, and should be based on the material. The characteristics are heat treated accordingly.

3. The wall thickness of the stainless steel gate valve body should meet the requirements of GB/T 12234.

4. The structural length of the flanged valve should meet the requirements of GB/T 12221 long or short.

5. The size of the end flange and the roughness of the flange end face are in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 9113.

6. The corrosion resistance of the valve parts material should not be lower than the valve body material

Stainless steel gate valve bonnet

1. There should be a conical or spherical upper seal on the bonnet, and the upper sealing seat is embedded on the bonnet with a bushing, or stainless steel or hard alloy is surfacing at the bonnet. The minimum thickness of the surfacing layer after processing should not be less than 1.6mm

2. The valve stem hole of the valve cover should be designed with an appropriate clearance, so that it can not only ensure the smooth lifting of the valve stem, but also prevent the extrusion of the packing.

The corrosion resistance of the gate body should not be lower than that of the valve body material.

The upper sealing seat should be made of stainless steel with corrosion resistance and not lower than the valve body material, and the hardness of the sealing surface should not be lower than HB250.

packing gasket

The packing and gasket should be able to be used within the operating temperature range of the ball valve. Any metal gasket should be at least as resistant to corrosion as the valve body.
