For a ball valve to have a longer service life, it must rely on the following factors: Firstly, Normal working conditions. Second, maintain a harmonious temperature/pressure ratio. Third, when the ball valve is closed, there is still a pressurized fluid inside the valve body.

1). Regarding disassembly, you must first check the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve to confirm that the pressure has been relieved before disassembling and disassembling; when re-assembling after disassembly, remember to be careful to prevent damage to the sealing surface of the parts, especially non-metal Components. Use special tools to operate, and the flange bolts should be tightened symmetrically and evenly.

2). Regarding cleaning, the cleaning agent should be compatible with the rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working medium in the ball valve. For example, when the working medium is gas, you can clean the metal parts with gasoline, and clean the non-metal parts with pure water or alcohol. When cleaning non-metal parts, be careful not to soak them for a long time. After cleaning the parts, wait for the cleaning agent to evaporate or wipe off the cleaning agent before assembling. But it can't be left for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be contaminated by dust, so it will be washed in vain. Because metal chips, fibers, grease and other dust or other foreign matter are not allowed to adhere to the surface of the part or enter the cavity during assembly. Also, if there is a leak at the packing, the stem nut needs to be re-tightened.

3). Use grease, which should also be compatible with working media such as ball valve metal materials, rubber parts, and plastic parts. When the working medium is gas, special 221 grease can be used. Coat the surface of the seal installation groove, the rubber seal, and the sealing surface of the valve stem with a thin layer of grease.
